Unsolved Mysteries of City Hall We had some fun in this project with the San Francisco Redevelopment Commission, whose liberal members could not understand why the right wing members were stalling on working with a non-profit developer to rebuild the run-down low-income housing building that housed our theatre, Bindlestiff Studio. There were allegations that the stallers were on the payroll of the for-profit developers, and while it was never proven, we all know it was true. The building was eventually rebuilt, but the circus presided over, unbelieveably, by the ridiculous president of the Commission, Benny Yee at City Hall each Thursday evening is still great entertainment.
